Advancement Project
A next-generation, multi-racial civil rights organization. Rooted in the great human rights struggles for equality and justice, they exist to fulfill America’s promise of an inclusive and just democracy. AP uses innovative tools and strategies to strengthen social movements and achieve high-impact policy change.
THE GOAL
To revise AP’s robust 21-page PDF on gender justice and the criminal legal system. The aim was to effectively communicate the density of the material in a visually organized layout.
THE PROCESS
Collaborated with the deputy director + senior staff attorney on strategic positioning, developing a comprehensive curriculum. Creating a digital syllabus with embedded hyperlinks to extensive multimedia resources, enhancing the learning experience.
THE OUTCOME
The result was a compact, dynamic syllabus categorized into six parts, creating a cohesive internal and external asset. This visually appealing and functional resource is both scholarly and accessible to a wide audience.
